What are the dates of the 2017 Fairfest 3 on 3 tournament?
Thursday, August 24th Friday, August 25th Saturday, August 26th
Do I play in the grade I'm going into, or the grade from my past school year?
You will be playing in the grade you are going into. Please make sure to fill out your registration forms with the correct grade you will be entering into (the upcoming school year). This helps us better pair teams with the right size and skill levels.
How long does the tournament last?
Both Friday and Saturday, the tournament will run from 8:30am - 3:00pm.
What time do I need to arrive to check-in?
The anticipated check-in times for Friday and Saturday will be starting at 8:00am or 10:00am. Your designated team captain will be notified to check-in at one of the two times.
How much is the team entry fee?
See Registration page for more information. Please note, there are NO REFUNDS for team entries.
We must receive your completed registration form before the mail-in date deadline, postmarked August 10th, 2017. After the deadline, we will welcome your completed registration only on a space available basis until the final cut-off date on August 10th, 2017. Please call us if you register late so we can put you on our availability waiting list. There will be a $20 late fee added for a team registering past the deadline.
Can we have a sponsor for our team?
Individual team sponsors are solely the responsibility of the team, as we will not recruit or provide any. Alternatively, you or your business can partner with us and receive benefits by becoming a Fairfest sponsor.
Can my team members consist of different ages or grade?
For youth divisions, players must consist of that grade or under. Age can vary.
Will there be a family division at Fairfest?
Fairfest 2017 does not at this time offer a family division. We will consider implementing family divisions and other types of divisions to future Fairfest tournaments.
Can I play on more than one team?
Yes we allow for people to play on different teams, however they need to be playing in different divisions or on different days (e.g. An individual playing on a men's high school team on Friday can play on a Men's or Co-Ed team on Saturday). Please keep in mind, if playing in 2 division on the same day, there may be scheduling conflicts that we cannot guard against.
Can we enter a co-ed team with only one member of the opposite sex?
Yes, however it's a requirement for a member of the opposite sex to be on the court at all times during the tournament, with no rest. Keep in mind, if this individual was to be injured without a sub, the entire team will be disqualified.
